Scenic Supplies include a number coatings, paints, tools and hardware used in producing quality scenery and effects. Rosco provides a variety of lines of paints including Off Broadway, Iddings, ColorCoat, and super-saturated paints in addition to their many texturizing products and adhesives like Foamcoat, Crystal Gel, Flexcoat, and FlexBond. Primers, glazes, and acrylic sealers are common purchases, but we also provide specialized paint for film and television production including camera balanced paints and keying materials like Chroma Key Green, Ultimatte Green, Chroma Key Blue, and Ultimatte blue paints and fabrics for blue screen/green screen applications. We also stock the full line of Flamex products, developed in conjunction with Turning Star, offering fire retardant products for theatre and performances to be applied to a number of fabrics, building materials, and finishes. Scenic brushes, fitches, brush sets and fitch sets are available for scenic painters. Scenic designers often paint or dye muslin fabrics to create backdrops, flats, and cycloramas, while velours and velvets are used in show curtains.
