Let our Product Team set up up with the right tape for the job
2 in. wide cloth gaffers tape continues to be one of our top sellers. Cloth tapes are commonly used for securing cables but have also been used as a masking material and to patch holes in soft goods and costumes. Cloth tapes are sometimes employed for marking on consoles and scenery in their 1 in. widths, but 1/2in. cloth tape is typically used for spiking applications. All of our cloth tapes, gaffers tapes, and spike tapes are available in a variety of colors including fluorescent tape. Other high visibility and safety tape products include glow tape (use Glow paint for permanent applications), and caution tapes- many including black and yellow stripes. Specialized tapes such as CablePath and tunnel tape are intended for taping cables to the floor or deck and include a non adhesive center section to keep your cables free from gummy residue. Vinyl tape is the superior tape when it comes to taping down dancefloors and seams in vinyl floors. Vinyl dance-floor tape secures the floor without creating a slippery situation for dancers and performers. For labeling consoles and scenery, use artists paper tape. Artist tape, sometimes called board tape, or console tape is usually sold in 1in. widths and is easy to write on. Black Paper tape is also popular as a masking material in the tv/fim and video industries. Other tape products for tv/video and film production include keying tapes- Chromakey tape, Digicomp tape, green screen/ blue screen tape- perfect for taping seams, repairing surfaces, and making objects disappear behind a layer of color matched tape. We also supply high temperature clear tapes for creating split color gels and repairing gelstrings.
